Advanced Assembly Placement (9:52)

 

Accessing the Assemblies Tab:

  1. Open the software and locate the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
  2. Click on the 'Assemblies' tab to view the library of components and assemblies available for use.

Navigating to Specific Assemblies for Placement:

  1. Scroll through the list of assemblies within the 'Assemblies' tab.
  2. Select 'in-wall' or the relevant category for your project needs.

Manual Assembly Placement:

  1. Choose the specific assembly you want to place, such as a duplex receptacle.
  2. Drag the assembly to the desired location on the project layout displayed on your screen.

Setting and Adjusting Assembly Details:

  1. Click on the placed assembly to select it.
  2. Enter the properties panel, set the height as needed, and label the assembly accordingly.

Assigning Circuit Numbers:

  1. With the assembly still selected, enter the circuit number in the designated field within the properties panel.
  2. Use the spacebar to rotate the assembly to the required orientation, if necessary.

Saving Configurations:

  1. After placing and adjusting all assemblies as needed, click the 'Save' button located typically at the top or bottom right of the interface to save all changes and configurations.

Review and Adjustments:

  1. Review the placed assemblies and their settings.
  2. Make any necessary adjustments by selecting the assembly, modifying its properties, and saving again.

Documentation and Labeling:

  1. Ensure all assemblies are correctly labeled with identifiers such as circuit numbers and heights.
  2. Confirm that all labels are visible and correctly reflect the assembly settings.
