Assembly Tab Overview (5:11)

 

Accessing the Assemblies Tab:

  1. Open the Software: Start the application and wait for the main interface to load.
  2. Navigate to the Assemblies Tab: Look to the left side of your screen and click on the 'Assemblies' tab.

Exploring Assembly Categories:

  1. View Available Categories: Upon opening the Assemblies tab, browse through the various assembly categories displayed.
  2. Select a Category: For instance, choose 'In-Wall Assemblies' to view symbols and parts related to in-wall installations.

Adding and Configuring Assemblies:

  1. Add New Assembly: Click on the option to add a new assembly if the desired symbol or component is not available.
  2. Configure Assembly Details: Enter the specific parameters such as label, height, and other relevant data for the new assembly.

Adjusting Electrical Information:

  1. Select Electrical Properties: Choose options like dedicated or shared neutral, and shared or isolated ground based on your project requirements.
  2. Input Circuit Details: Specify the circuit number and other electrical data that will define how the assembly interacts with the overall electrical system of the project.

Creating a New Assembly:

  1. Identify a Missing Symbol: If a required symbol is not found, use the 'Add New Assemblies' tool to create it.
  2. Define Assembly Properties: Set the parameters and properties of the new assembly, ensuring all relevant data is included for accurate placement and function within the project.

Finalizing the Assembly Creation:

  1. Save the New Assembly: After adjusting and confirming all settings, save the new assembly to integrate it into your project's database.
  2. Utilize the Assembly: Implement the newly created assembly in your project, using it as required in the design and installation processes.
