Step 1: Access Project Settings
- Open Project Settings
- Navigate to the settings area of your project in AECInspire.
- Select Sheet Annotation Tag Settings
- Find and select the "Sheet Annotation Tag Settings" option to manage how labels are displayed on project sheets.
Step 2: Review Current Tags
- Examine Existing Tags
- Review the current labels used for different categories such as in-wall assemblies, lighting fixtures, J boxes, hangers, strut supports, and equipment.
- Understand their formatting and the reasons or values associated with each tag.
Step 3: Initiate Customization
- Switch to Custom Settings
- Change from the default tag settings to custom to enable personalization of tags.
- Choose Parameters
- Select specific parameters you want to display on the tags from the dropdown menus available for each object type.
- Parameters can include height, install time, or any other aspect of the assembly.
Step 4: Apply Changes
- Save Adjustments
- After setting up the labels as desired, save the changes.
- Verify Updates
- Ensure that all labels across project sheets reflect the new settings and show the correct information.
Step 5: Advanced Customization (Optional)
- Add Detailed Information
- Include specific hardware details, such as mud ring types, directly in the labels for quick reference during project execution.
- For example, update the label to show the code for different types of mud rings used in in-wall assemblies.
- Save and Review
- After adding detailed labels, save the changes again.
- Review the project sheets to confirm that the labels appear as intended and accurately display the new information.
