Step 1: Initialization and Setup
- Open the Inspire software and navigate to the module for placing counters and assemblies.
- Select the default counter tool and prepare to apply it to designated symbols on your floor plan.
Step 2: Placing Counters and Labeling
- Begin by placing counters over each light fixture or relevant symbol on your drawing.
- Immediately label each counter with the appropriate identifier for the fixture or component it represents.
- Continue this process across the entire plan, ensuring each symbol is accurately marked.
Step 3: Embedding Detailed Information
- For power assemblies, input detailed specifications such as height and circuit information at the time of placement.
- Adjust settings directly in the tool to apply different types of counters or modify existing ones without switching tools.
Step 4: Saving and Finalizing Data
- Once all counters and assemblies are correctly placed and labeled, right click and press the 'save' button to finalize the entries.
- Verify that all data is accurately reflected in the Quantities tab and that each assembly contains correct and complete information.
Step 5: Review and Adjustments
- Review all tagged and labeled assemblies to ensure everything is correctly entered.
- Make any necessary adjustments to the properties of the assemblies to reflect accurate installation details or circuit information.
- Confirm that all changes are saved and that the final data integrity is maintained within the project documentation.
