How to Print PDFs from your Project (1:30)

 

Step 1: Open the Printing Interface

  • Navigate to Print: Click on the "Print PDF" command located on the right-hand side of your screen.

Step 2: Configure Your Print Settings

  • Choose Layers: Before printing, adjust which layers are visible by toggling them on or off, ensuring only relevant information is included.
  • Set Color and Parameters: Use the 'color by parameters' to adjust the visual representation of your printout.

Step 3: Select Layout and Paper Settings

  • Layout Options: Choose the orientation (typically landscape) and confirm the color settings.
  • Paper Size: Default size is E1, but ensure to adjust this according to the scale and dimensions required for your project.

Step 4: Finalize Settings and Print

  • Scale: Set the scale to 'fit to page' to ensure the entire drawing prints correctly.
  • Print: Click the 'print' button. AEC Inspire will generate a PDF of your document.

Step 5: Review the Printed Document

  • Timestamp Verification: Check the timestamp in the upper right corner of your printed PDF to verify when the document was printed.
